Caravan Made was born at the end of 2013, in the midst of dreaming of creating an alternative cooking project.
It all started when the truck crossed our paths. It was love at first sight. Javi left his position at el Celler de Can Roca, and after some months of intense work, Caravan Made made its debut at the Fira de la Candelera, the most important festival in our hometown.
We started our journey in the first street food events of Barcelona. Our goal was to spread our passion for cooking to everyone that came by to try our food.
Our dedication, effort, and passion have brought us to where we are today. Only a few months after we began our food truck project, we found our first physical space; “L’Obrador”, where in a shared kitchen space in Barcelona, we started working on our first catered events and weddings.
Finally, in May 2016 we moved to our own space, we opened our own restaurant and started serving our street food creations on a daily basis.
Behind Caravan Made are Javi and Sílvia, along with a team of professionals with solid experience in the food industry. A young team, filled with illusion and dedication, is the key to this project.
